WHAT A SESSION IS LIKE
An hour, one on one, with me.
No techs, no aides, no getting handed off to someone else halfway through the session. The same person from your first visit to your last.

What actually happens
01
We talk first.
We go over what's going on, what you've already tried, what you currently can't do and what you want back. It's not a form and a five-minute recap with minimal eye contact, it's an actual conversation, and it's usually where I figure out what's really happening.

02
Then I assess.
I look at how you move, where your body feels restricted, and where you may be compensating. If you're here for pelvic floor concerns, I'm still looking at your entire body, how you land a jump, posture, your hip flexibility, breathing, the angle of your ribs, and how you're loading your body. Due to the location of the pelvic floor, an internal evaluation may be recommended. Before this, I use models to show you exactly what your anatomy looks like and what the exam entails, but it still is entirely up to you if we complete that on this visit or at all entirely.

03
Then we get to work.
Hands-on treatment for most of the hour, not five minutes at the end. You won't be hooked up to a machine and left to do kegels on a timer.

04
You leave with a plan.
I always try to leave you with a couple of things to either try or practice between sessions. I understand life is busy so my question is always the same: how do we fit this into your day so it feels manageable and not overwhelming?

Treatment techniques
- Manual therapy
- Myofascial release
- Visceral mobilization
- Joint mobilization
- Dry needling
- Cupping
- Scraping
- Blood flow restriction training
- Lymphatic massage
- Pessary fitting
- Strength and conditioning training
All of it is included in the price of your session. The one exception is shockwave therapy, which is a $10 add-on.
Most clinics and doctor's offices charge $100 to $200 a session or encourage you to buy a package costing thousands.
The room
I have a private treatment room and it’s yours for the hour. I don’t practice in a crowded open space you may be used to. Nobody will be watching you from across the room, listening to your concerns, or interrupting your care. If we need to lift some heavy weights, I’ve got another designated space for that.

The room is the part people mention first.
Bri's office is warm and inviting, not your average sterile medical facility.
IF YOU'RE NERVOUS
Most people are, and it's perfectly normal to be.
Usually it’s one of two things: either it is nerves around the internal aspect that comes to mind with pelvic floor therapy, or about having to talk about intimate details out loud to a stranger.
Nothing you tell me is TMI. I’ve pretty much heard it all, and what may not be normal for you to talk about in great detail is what makes up the bulk of my day.
In regards to the internal examination, it isn’t always necessary, it isn’t always where we start, and it is 100% always your decision. If we decide to move forward with it, I’ve taken steps to make it as comfortable as possible. Envision a nice heated table, calming music, soft sheets and not paper.
Nothing happens that you haven't agreed to.
I'll explain what I'm doing and why before I do it, and you can always tell me to stop at any point without explaining yourself. You're in charge of your own body here. You set the pace every single time.
Ready when you are
If you’d rather ask questions first, call me at 239-230-3905. I am happy to talk with you first and make sure it is a good fit. I understand that people are nervous because I was too at my first pelvic floor therapy appointment.
I was super nervous about pelvic floor PT but when I called to make my first appointment, Bri spent so much time with me talking me through everything and totally alleviating any fears I had.
I came to her anxious about the appointment and she handled it flawlessly. Every step was explained and options were given.
I was hopeful, but didn't have a lot of expectations not knowing what pelvic floor therapy really entailed... There really isn't any topic she would refuse to discuss.
Bri creates a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can actually relax and trust the process. I always feel heard, supported, and empowered after a session with her.
FOR REHAB PROVIDERS
If you're a rehab provider who wants to learn to interpret bloodwork, understand the body systems deeper, and treat the whole person with a root cause approach rather than just focusing on the primary complaint or symptoms, start here.
